100,000 Meter Rowing Club Ends
When the 100,000 Meter Rowing Club Challenge began on
the week of Valentine’s Day, it seemed like Fourth of July
would never come. Now rowers have until closing on Saturday,
July 3 to log at least 100,000 meters on a rowing machine.
Many members have chosen to go above and beyond the goal,
but we are proud of everyone who chased after the goal.
Official results will be posted July 5. Way to go!
Spartacus Challenge
The Men’s Health
“Spartacus Workout” has gained popularity and is a
challenging workout to complete in a set time period. Our
Spartacus Challenge, which will be held on Saturday, July 24
at 8:30 am in the gymnasium, will be a “last man/woman
standing” type of competition with plenty of friendly
rivalry. If you are interested in competing, you can
register at the front desk for $10. If you missed the
demonstration on June 17, please
e-mail Erin
for a copy of the workout so you have time to train! The
male and female winner will receive a free month’s
membership, so give it a try!
10 Fitness Tests to Deem Yourself in Shape
We have developed the ultimate assessment of
well-rounded, holistic fitness, and it is a battery of 10
tests or measurements. This is ideal to use as a starting
point, a revealer of weaknesses (and how to improve them),
or to see if you really are as fit as you think you
are.
E-mail Erin
if you would like more information or to schedule a test. |
